In this hour-long session, participants tour the content of the Federal/Foreign Tax Library while experiencing the integration of the Library's components: expert analysis, news and developments, primary sources, journals and special reports, and practice tools. Employing three different tax research strategies, participants work through a scenario-based exercise while learning to locate answers in the expert analysis of the Federal Portfolios and the Tax Practice Series. The course prepares participants to retrieve information quickly and efficiently, to conduct basic tax research, and to take full advantage of the Library's functionality.

Federal/Foreign Advanced Training

Federal Portfolios and Tax Practice Series on BNA Tax Management Library

In this hour-long session, participants learn to maximize their use of the integrated components of the Federal/Foreign Tax Library: expert analysis, news and developments, primary sources, journals and special reports, and practice tools. Employing three different tax research strategies, participants work through a scenario-based exercise while learning to locate answers in the expert analysis of the Federal Portfolios and the Tax Practice Series. An emphasis on honing existing research skills demonstrates advanced features in the indexes, advanced search mechanisms and connectors as well as specialized search templates.

State/Federal Forms Training

Tax Forms on BNA Tax Management Library

In this 30-minute session, participants learn to efficiently prepare tax forms using interactive, self-calculating Federal and State forms. The course reviews locating and completing forms, entering, importing and managing client data, and accessing instructions. Recent product enhancements are covered in detail.
